Changes = HOPE FOR A BETTER LIFE

They were nothing more than people, by themselves. even paired, any pairing, the would have been nothing more than people by themselves. but all together, they had become the heart and muscles and mind of something perilous and new, something strange and growing and great. Together, all together, they were instruments of CHANGE.

Keri Hume, contemporary Maori writer, in THE BONE PEOPLE

When I first read this quote, I was totally amazed. I was amazed by the sentences and I was also amazed by the things that are reflected by this statement. You see, people often think that they can't do anything in this world. They often think that they're just too small to be a part of a change. They often consider themselves as useless since they think that they can't actually make any differences.

Well, from my point of view, it's totally stupid if a person says something like that. If a person says something like that, it means that live is hopeless. That person is actually the poorest person ever.

Well, I would like to say a thing or two about the meaning of this statement for me. You see, I still do think that sometimes I'm just not strong enough to make a difference but when I'm together with my buddies, it seems that things get easier all the way. Like this statement that said we're strong when we're together, I do feel it too in my days. When things get too tough or too difficult for me to handle, I always look for support from my family and my buddies. When I do that, it seems that a giant weight have just been lifted from my body.

However, the things  I said above are only public-known facts. People all over the world know what's the meaning of being together. People all over the world know what they can do when they're together. People all over the world always appreciate the joy of being together. We don't need to teach them to be together with their buddies to be strong. But we do need to teach them what they can do and what sort of changes they can make when they're strong.

We know that when people are strong they can make changes. There have been many evidences that when you're strong, you tend to be controlling things and when you're controlling things, once again, you're the instruments of changes. But, the question now is, DO WE REALLY WANT TO SEE ANY CHANGES? NO!!! We want to see changes that lead us to a better future. So, what changes can bring us a better future? Answers to this question are many, but all of the answers are actually leading to the same thing. They're actually mentioning one thing. A BETTER LIFE. They're actually telling us that changes are supposed to bring us a better life.

YES PEOPLE!! WE ONLY WANT A BETTER LIFE!! BETTER THAN WHAT WE HAVE NOW!!

Better here means everything. It could mean as a better job;  a better house; a better car; a better wife or husband; even better children. We simply just want better in everything. So, all in all, we only want changes because we just want a better life ( same as I said earlier ).  But, we still have to pay attention to the other side of changes. Changes doesn't always mean a better life. Changes can be bad. Changes can bring sadness. Changes can tear us apart. It's the fact. People all around us may tell us that changes are mostly bad. Changes sometimes are not the same with most people's hopes. But, enough with the sadness. We must always be positive since know that we can always hope that changes actually mean a better life.

"Changes are actually our ways and hopes  for a better life." - KEVIN DOMINIQUE

Political language SUCKS!

Political language - and with variations this is true of all political parties - is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable.

This statement was from George Orwell, an English novelist and essayist who wrote this statement in his book called Politics of the English Language..

From that statement, we can conclude that these are the things that are actually happening around us. The thing I mean here is the fact that this world is full of lies. I may call it a deceitful world where truths are prohibited but lies are spread. A pathetic fact that is unquestionably happening around us. Politics are the same. They are full of lies but still considered as truths. Very strange but it's normal. You cannot actually hope that politics are good because politics are just ways for humans to achieve their dreams. Politics never actually mention that we have to play the game fairly. Politics is completely different with football. In football, you are always encouraged to do fair play but you are not encouraged to do that in politics. It's not like that you're told to do fair play but it's directly from your heart that says you won't win anything when you're playing nice.

So, by looking at this statement there must be nothing popping out in our mind. HOW CAN ANYONE MAKE LIES SOUND TRUTHFUL? A question so hard to answer but so easy to be done. First, we have to look at the principles of lies. Lies are always the opposite of truths. Lies won't ever be mentioned as truths because these 2 things are just not supposed to be one. Second, we have to understand the meaning of political languages completely. Political languages are the things mentioned by people who want to achieve their dreams but they're not playing the game fairly. They will do anything to reach their dreams and they're really willing to risk anything just to get their hands on a single thing called power. So, the answer of the question above is very simple. A lie can sound truthful when you believe in it. You are too afraid to face the truth so that you don't believe in truth anymore. You are actually looking for a solution but the truth can't provide the solution so you pick lies as your truths. When you believe in lies, it will sound truthful while truths will sound deceitful.

The second question  that may pop out in our mind is how can we make murders respectable? A difficult question to answer but when you're using political language, it may seem so simple. Murders aren't acceptable. It's a worldwide known fact. But, these days, things have gotten crazy. Facts are no longer considered as truths since people aren't believing in facts anymore. Just like what I said before. So, to answer the question actually it's very easy. Murders are  made respectable when they are claimed as the only way to bring peace. Murders are made respectable when they're claimed to be the only solution available. Murders are made respectable when they're done "in the name of the law". Somehow, political language has transformed murders into the only known solutions. That's massive but just stupid! The stupid part is that we are actually made to believe it! I can't believe the fact that I sometimes do consider murders as the only possible way out! How stupid and unbelievable that is! But, there's no need to say it loud and clear. Because no matter how hard you try, you will always lose when you're facing the LAW. You are just a sand in the Sahara when you're facing the LAW. It means you're hopeless and you are just going to loose. How pathetic but that's the fact! You are nothing in front of "the law".

So, what can we do?
NOTHING! Just watch and learn that in this world lies win but that win won't be everlasting. Truth is always the mightiest and will always stay like that.
